Yes.  I think I’m going to crown this one a failure.  In the field I thought that I had something that was purple.  When I got it back it was much more magenta and a lot less purple. 

So I was pretty disappointed except for the fact that if I wasn’t out with the camera I wouldn’t have captured any of these images of this little guy here.  He is a bit camera shy.  Not at all like his big sister.  He’s a tough guy to get interested in an informal portrait shoot.   It really is amazing how having the camera in hand, or in use typically leads to other work beyond the weekly assignment.
